Hospitals

One cannot emphasize enough the importance of mental well-being and its relationship with physical health. Medical Clowning or Clown therapy bridges the gap between providing care for physical health and mental health in hospital settings. In healing of the people suffering from various ailments at hospitals, Medical clowning comes to aide in reducing stress and anxiety. Hospital settings are generally gloomy. Clown therapy acts as a distraction therapy; demystifying and humanizing the whole hospital environment for patients.

Schools &
Organizations

Clowning is a tool to become more self-aware and to learn to accept ourselves for who we are and being comfortable in our own skin. It not only helps in the acceptance of self but acceptance of others around us and see them as they are without being judgmental.

Clowning helps us laugh at our own selves and see the world from a different point of view, that of empathy, humor and doer and helps in Personality development. It helps us understand the power of failure and not giving up. It helps us in letting go apprehensions and ‘be’ in the moment helping understand our needs and who we are.

Clowning techniques for team management can be immensely beneficial for team engagement and improvement in ability to work together Clowning helps to identify the aspects that may be stalling the work growth while working on awareness of self and others.

Free Hugs

Hugs are more than just a friendly greeting, they are a powerful health booster. During a hug, we release oxytocin, a hormone that relaxes us and lowers anxiety. It’s often called the “cuddle hormone,” and when it’s released during the '20-second hugs' it can effectively lower blood pressure and reduce the stress hormone norepinephrine. Hugs are also associated with reducing pain

Old Age
Homes

There is immense pain and suffering at Old age homes. The Elderly crave for some care and affection. A warm touch, some moments spent together makes the elderly, living in old age homes feel wanted. A feeling that is long forgotten.

In an effort to make a positive difference, Clownselors visit old age homes and clown around with Grandmas and grandpas. Clowning involves a myriad of activities like singing, playing, dancing, hugging, story telling, which are powerful therapeutic tools to help reduce stress and suffering.

Vulnerable
Places

Not everyone is fortunate; some do not have the basic necessities of life. Some live in shelter homes, some in orphanages, some in home for mentally challenged, some in refugee camps, and so on.

Clownselors believe in the power of laughter and smiles, of hope and positivity. We visit all kinds of vulnerable spaces to share joy and love. We receive ample love in return. The children in different ....

Awareness Campaigns

Clownselors conducted the first awareness campaign on the request of hospital authority at the government hospital for children on Hand Hygiene using clowning as a medium. It was realized then, clowning is a powerful tool to create awareness.

We conduct and participate in various awareness campaigns around Cancer Prevention, Health & Hygiene, Child Sexual Abuse, Mental Health, Menstrual Hygiene, Breaking Stereotypes, Environment Protection, and the like.
